His 16 year career is split between India and Australia, working for leading companies such as:  National Stock Exchange of India,  NSE.IT ,  Business Today , Yahoo! Australia ,  WPP’s 24/7 Real Media (Australia’s largest search marketing agency).

Hasnain has intimate knowledge and insights into the entire spectrum of a Web business from conceptualisation (Web business strategy, business model, monetisation), construction (Web development and digital project management), implementation (Web operations and establishing Web teams) through to marketing (search marketing, e-mail, social media and other online channels) and measurement (online metrics and business performance).

As the CEO of Simplogy, a digital strategy consulting and marketing services company based in Sydney, he advises leading Australian companies.

He is also the founder and editor of Web Business Age – a practical online resource for Web business and online marketing strategies and tools. He teaches a digital strategy course at the University of Sydney.

Hasnain’s pursuit of business management studies at MGSM (Macquarie Graduate School of Management), one of Australia’s top three business schools, his knowledge of strategic marketing, performance measurement and business management, helps him to appreciate the online requirements of a business from a strategic perspective.
